28th November was the day of the meeting and discussion with citizens of Zvole and Ohrobec – the two municipalities near Dolní Břežany, the home of the ELI Beamlines project. The project management introduced ELI to almost fifty attendants – the international character of the project, its research goals and potential practical use of scientific results, etc. Also all questions were answered – mostly regarding potential jobs, an impact of the construction on life of people from municipalities around, a safety of research conducted inside the ELI Beamlines, the land ownership or a proportion of scientists from abroad.
