ELI in Brief

The goal of the Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) Project is to build a unique laser facility.  Once implemented, it will consist of three laser facilities built in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. More information.

Pan-European Initiative

The ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure) Project is an integral part of the European plan to build the next generation of large research facilities identified and selected by the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI).  ELI is one of the 44 priority projects that in 2006 became a part of the ESFRI Roadmap and continued to be further outlined in 2008. ERIC

ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) is a legal entity based on EU law, designed to facilitate the joint establishment and operation of research facilities of European interest such as ELI. More information.

Lasers for Society

The ELI beamline facility will enjoy a unique position in the arena of high-power laser facilities: it will be the first infrastructure of such dimensions fully dedicated to users. More information.

ELI v kostce

Projekt Extreme Light Infrastructure si klade za cíl vybudovat unikátní laserová zařízení. Implementace ELI bude realizována výstavbou tří laserových center, která se budou nacházet v České republice, Maďarsku a Rumunsku. Více se dočtete zde.

Celoevropská iniciativa

Projekt ELI je součástí evropského plánu na vybudování příští generace velkých výzkumných zařízení, které byly identifikovány a vybrány na Evropském strategickém fóru pro výzkumné infrastruktury (ESFRI). Patří mezi prioritních 44 projektů, jež byly na ESFRI Roadmap zařazeny v roce 2006 a během roku 2008 byly blíže definovány.Více se dočtete zde.

ERIC

ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) je novým evropským právním rámcem pro vybudování a provoz takového mezinárodního výzkumného zařízením, jakým bude ELI. Více se dočtete zde.

Lasery pro společnost

Zařízení ELI Beamlines zaujme unikátní pozici mezi ostatními vysokovýkonovými laserovými infrastrukturami: bude prvním zařízením takových rozměrů dodávajícím různorodé, vysoce kvalitní zdroje, které budou určené pro velké množství uživatelů.Více se dočtete zde.
