The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has developed an update of the Czech Roadmap of the large infrastructures for research, experimental development and innovation, which was approved by the Government Resolution No. 381, dated May 25, 2015.
Update of the roadmap is based on a comprehensive international assessment of research infrastructures of the Czech Republic, which took place in 2014. It is based on a methodology inspired by demanding assessment processes of the European Strategy Forum for Research Infrastructures (ESFRI). The assessment covers all the research infrastructures of the Czech Republic, regardless of the manner of their existing funding sources.
Updated Roadmap brings a strategic model of approach to the agenda of Czech research infrastructures, including their financing during the forthcoming period 2016 – 2022. This model is based on a combination of spending the state budget for research, development and innovation and the European structural and investment funds (ESIF), which will be drawn through the Operational Programme Research, Development and Education (OP VVV).
