Join us in celebrating the International Day of Light, which highlights the vital role of light in science, technology, art, and everyday life. The day also commemorates the first successful laser demonstration by the American physicist and engineer Theodore H. Maiman on 16 May 1960. To mark the occasion, ELI Beamlines is preparing a public open day with a programme inspired by light and laser technologies. The programme is currently being prepared and will be published at the end of April.
