The Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) will open its 7th User Call on 23 September 2025, with a submission deadline of 28 October 2025. Researchers worldwide are invited to submit proposals to access instruments at the ELI ALPS, ELI Beamlines, and ELI Nuclear Physics Facilities. Proposals will be evaluated by an international peer-review panel based on scientific excellence.
Highlights in This CallThe High Field Petawatt (HF PW) laser will be available to users for the first time. The HF PW delivers ultrashort, high-power pulses with excellent stability, combining high average and peak power. It enables experiments across 3 dedicated beamlines, supporting research from attosecond pulse generation to electron acceleration and strong-field physics.
- HHG-MAC is a multipurpose station for Atomic, Molecular and Optical (AMO) sciences and Coherent Diffractive Imaging (CDI), powered by a high-harmonic generation (HHG) source of coherent vacuum-and extreme ultraviolet VUV/XUV pulses. The HHG is driven by a unique combination of high repetition rate (1 kHz) laser systems and is also available for research into source development.
- Register in the ELI User Registry to access the User Office System (UOS) for proposal submission. Note that a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) has been introduced for enhanced security.
- The UOS provides step-by-step support for proposal preparation, training, and the full submission process.
- Engage early with beamline scientists to ensure feasibility and strengthen your proposal.
