Intense lasers for the production of ultrashort relativistic electron bunches and x-ray flash

The aim of the project Development and applications of high intensity laser driven X-ray pulses and proton beams is to build a highly qualified research team which will be focused on the newest current trends in the fields of Development and applications of high intensity laser driven X-ray sources and proton beams for the purpose of the basic research and for advanced applications (for example in material, biomolecular and medical sciences). The teams will be led by excellent researchers from Great Britain (Queen’s University) and France (LOA-ENSTA). These researchers will implement their own Research and Development activities and will enhance the internal basement for education of young researchers in the field.

On November 28 at 2 PM the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology will host a lecture of Dr. Kim Ta Phuoc of LOA-ESTA. For more information, see the invitation.

The lecture will be held in English.
