On the occasion of the launch of projects supported under the Second Swiss Contribution to selected EU member states, representatives of ELI ERIC attended the opening conference of the Czech-Swiss Cooperation Programme in Research Infrastructures.
The conference not only allowed beneficiaries to present their projects and planned activities, but, thanks to the participation of representatives from both Czech and Swiss institutions, it also created space for networking, sharing experience, and strengthening mutual cooperation.
The Czech-Swiss Cooperation Programme in Research Infrastructures was launched in April 2025. Its goal is to strengthen Czech research infrastructures and Czech science, with collaboration with leading Swiss institutions playing a key role.
The SwissELITE project was also supported under the Czech-Swiss Cooperation Programme in Research Infrastructures.
SwissELITE is a joint initiative connecting ELI Beamlines / ELI ERIC with Swiss partners—the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) and Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). The project aims to enhance advanced research infrastructure capacities, promote technology development, and expand opportunities for excellent international research cooperation.
