Project EC OP 3: Development and applications of high intensity laser driven X-ray pulses and proton beams

The aim of the project is to build a highly qualified research team which will be focused on the newest current trends in the fields of Development and applications of high intensity laser driven X-ray sources and proton beams for the purpose of the basic research and for advanced applications (for example in material, biomolecular and medical sciences).

The teams will be led by excellent researchers from Great Britain (Queen’s University) and France (LOA-ENSTA). These researchers will implement their own Research and Development activities and will enhance the internal basement for education of young researchers in the field.

Knowledge transfer to target groups will be realized through seminars, workshops and professional excursions at Universities and Institutions outside of the capital city of Prague. Realized activities play significant role in building expertise in the International Laser Centre ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure).
