3rd Photon and Neutron (PaN) EOSC Symposium of PaNOSC & ExPaNDS

Dear All,

We cordially invite you to save the date and register for the 3rd Photon and Neutron (PaN) EOSC Symposium of PaNOSC & ExPaNDS, focusing on sustainable data from PaN facilities.

The symposium will be held on 18th October, from 13:30 to 17:30 CEST, as an onsite meeting (in Brno) and an online satellite event to the ICRI 2022 conference. The event aims to share the major results achieved in the frame of the two H2020 projects, PaNOSC & ExPaNDS, in making FAIR data a reality at PaN facilities across Europe, and explore how a “PaN Data Commons” can be integrated into the EOSC, in collaboration with the other ESFRI cluster projects.

Two panel discussions will focus on EOSC Data Federation sustainability and on the sustainability models which may be implemented for PaN data to be FAIR in the long run. Panellists include representatives of the LENS and LEAPS initiatives, the ESFRI cluster projects, and the task force on the financial sustainability of the EOSC.
