26-28 August 2020
Virtual Summer School to be Run by ELI-ALPS Laser Research Institute
Everything is different in 2020, but the fifth ELI Summer School (ELISS) must go ahead. This year the event, alternatingly hosted by the individual pillars of ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure), is again organized by ELI-ALPS (Attosecond Light Pulse Source ). Unfortunately, this time we are unable to meet participants in person, and the programmes will be held in the virtual space
on 26-28 August 2020.
The main objective of ELISS is to provide young researchers with a comprehensive overview of intense laser pulses and laser-driven particle and radiation sources.
Virtual laboratory tour
High-power ultrashort lasers
Particle acceleration and applications
Generation and application of attosecond
XUV and X-ray optics
ELI user experiments
Generation and applications of intense THz
Generation and amplification of ultrashort laser pulse
Generation of bright coherent and incoherent X-ray pulses using short-pulse lasers
